Thinking outside the Box Blind
I want to share an experience I had to hope others can benefit from it. One evening while watering the arena, I noticed a big deer out behind the horse arena at our home. It was after shooting hours so nothing I could do. The next evening, I noticed 3 big deer out behind the arena. Again after shooting hours so nothing I can do. Then I decided to hunt the area, these deer were big from what I could tell. They were coming into what I would call a no typical area. They come out of the woods, have a...

Time Well Spent

A couple years ago a friend of mine was in his deer stand when a mature doe comes in to view and he was getting excited about releasing an arrow. Now it was a little cooler outside on this late fall morning, so he had a couple more layers of clothes on than usual. If, your like me your probably tired of seeing those litttle bucks with few points or with all kinds of little points, or wiered, goofy racks, that, look like they been hit with a" ugly stick"! You...

Welcome!

Welcome!
Hello gang! Sawyer and I are excited about coming on board and sharing what we know, experience and continue to learn in this awesome sport we all love. We hope to add a little diversity with some youth perspective and of course promote one of our favorite endeavors......Turkey Hunting! We are proud members of the Woodhaven Customs Calls Pro-staff so hopefully we will be able to share some insight on the different types of calls out there. Our deer season so far has been pretty slow here in Georgia. And after a visit to our local deer cooler, it’s not just...
