Kamik® Snowshield Pac Boots

Kamik® Snowshield Pac Boots
Do your feet get cold while ice fishing or snow blowing? Mine for sure do. I have been looking for a Pac Boot that would keep my feet warm. I have poor circulation in my feet, so it doesn't take much for them to get cold. Once my feet get cold, it's game over. I received these boots as a gift this past christmas and I have put them to the test. They pass! My feet have gotten cold in every other pair of boots I have. I hate wearing thick heavy socks because they restrict my toes. With these boots...

Thermacell heated insoles

Thermacell heated insoles
I received the insoles in December and was super excited to try them out on some cold hunts. The first time I took them out it was 34 degrees. I wore a pair or thermal socks and used the insoles and my feet stayed plenty warm. The next two occasions I used them was in 15 degree or lower temps. I was wearing 400-gram boots and somewhat thin socks as recommended in the instructions. My feet froze. LaCrosse Alphaburly Pro 18" 1600gram

LaCrosse Alphaburly Pro 18" 1600gram
I got these great boots for the 2013 deer season up here in MN. I must say I love them. They definitly keep your feet warm during long cold all day sits. I sat for 11 hours on November 9th our MN gun opener for whitetail! My feet never got cold at all, not one bit! If you are looking for a boot thats warm I recomend these for sure. The only thing I wouldn't recomend them for is if you do a lot of walking. They are a little bulky. If you hunt like me and just sit for hours...

Irish Setter Rutmaster Boots (1200 gram)

Irish Setter Rutmaster Boots (1200 gram)
I finally broke down and purchased some good winter boots. I normally just use my 400 gram hunting boots all winter and just add a layer of wool socks to get by. This year however my feet were telling me that wasn't going to be good enough. I don't know if it's my ripe old age of 37 or if I'm just becoming a sissy. Either way, I knew I was going to have to buy some boots that were actually built for the cold winters up here in Northern Minnesota. I wanted a boot that was warm, 100% water proof,...
