I'm Matt Hiatt, an Ohio native who is married to a wonderful wife and blessed to have a beautiful daughter. I started off "back yard" hunting with my brother while transitioning into squirrel hunting with dad. As I grew up I was lucky enough to have a neighbor who taught me how to deer hunt as well as a grandpa willing to sit with me before I was old enough to go out on my own. I developed a passion for hunting at a young age which has only further developed with age. I hunted/filmed with Blitz TV for a few years and love being able to share my outdoor experiences with others through video. I enjoy getting the story of a hunt on film nearly as much as the harvest itself. Sitting out in nature enjoying what God provided us thrills me as much as the challenge of the hunt. I have hunted various species from deer to bear and would love the opportunity to one day go after North America's other big game species.

I had been looking for a while to find a simple to use and high quality camera for self-filming my hunts and have tried many of them on the market….Tactacam fit the bill for just what I needed. I love the simplicity to turn on/off and stop/start recording. I haven't tried it on a gun for a hunt yet ...

In the spring of 2014 I decided I wanted to get another crossbow to turkey hunt with and have for deer season in case I hurt my shoulder or it was very cold and I had to wear a lot of clothes which make shooting a compound difficult. After talking to friends and seeing "Velocity Archery" during some...

I received the insoles in December and was super excited to try them out on some cold hunts. The first time I took them out it was 34 degrees. I wore a pair or thermal socks and used the insoles and my feet stayed plenty warm. The next two occasions I used them was in 15 degree or lower temps. I was...
