Duluth Pack-Cruiser Combo Pack

Duluth Pack-Cruiser Combo Pack
My packs have followed me everywhere from hiking the Grand Canyon to canoeing the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. I seem to always have that little stitched leather moose logo near me in tough situations and it has never failed me. I started with a small Scout pack by Duluth Pack and increased in size as time has gone by.About three years ago before heading to the BWCAW, I decided that I would upgrade from my Kelty pack and purchased a #3 Cruiser Combo pack. It has held up and surpassed my expectations! The craftsmanship is unmatched! I have gone...

A Sight that takes it to the next level!

A Sight that takes it to the next level!
Coming from a long time bowhunter, "over four decades".  I've seen alot of changes in archery equipment, for the better! One item that I really have seen change in all kinds of configurations is the bow sight. Everthing from single-pin to three to six pin sights! Everyone seems to think theirs is the way to go! There are a lot of good sights out there and picking one would be a personal preference. One thing I've learned is to try to keep things simple. That is why I like HHA products. Outdoor News (outdoornews.com)By Tim SpielmanAssociate EditorNashwauk, Minn. — No matter the time of year, or the location, when one enters the woods to trap or hunt, there are inherent dangers. One of the most unexpected caught up to a Nashwauk man late last month.Don Newman is recovering still, from a beating he took at the hooves of a cow moose near Isabella as the 36-year-old Fond du Lac band members checked marten traps. A young Labrador, integral to the story of the moose encounter as both antagonist and hero, escaped unscathed.Newman, a construction worker during the “warm season” and trapper during...

My Favorite...Venison Burritos!

My Favorite...Venison Burritos!
Easy meals made at home. 1 lb ground Venison. 1 package Old El Paso Chile & Roasted Garlic Mild Mexican Cooking Sauce, 8 oz. Brown Venison in skillet and add in the Old El Paso burrito sauce. This is the best burrito sauce I have ever tried and I’m hooked. For toppings I use fresh Avacado, raw bell peppers (yellow & orange), tomatoes, Spanish rice, black & pinto beans, sour cream and light cheese topped with the amazing Sriracha hot sauce. Enjoy!

U-Slide Bow Holder – Product Review

U-Slide Bow Holder – Product Review
So here is my latest purchase.  The U-Slide Bow Holder.  As you can see it serves several purposes.  Most archers and especially new archers will run into the issue of what to do with their bow when retrieving arrows.  Do you lean it against something trying to prop it up awkwardly risking that it falls over?  Stand it up on the cams?  Lay it on its side and risk moving the housing on your site.  There’s lots of scenarios for why I had to find a solution to this problem. This is the best solution I have found for long and...
