Something I have always felt very strongly about is farm raised fish verses wild caught. Salmon in particular. I have watched and read many articles on this matter. This is what is happening in a nut shell. They are changing the quality and nutrience value of our food. Also making our wild fish sick along the way. Farm raised salmon are almost always Atlantic Salmon. Wild salmon contains a higher percentage of omega 3 fatty acids and more favorable ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acids than farmed salmon. Cooler
It is a piece of americana,  it is a symbol of freedom.  It means, adventure beyond your kitchen. It separates the men from the boys. I am talking about "the cooler". If you want to get to know someone,  look in there cooler. Do they have the cooler that when opened smells so bad you dare not touch what ever has died in it from last camp season. Or,  is there a half opened bag of what looks to be hotdogs floating, but has since turned white from water saturation and two cans of Old Milwaukee that sunk to the bottom....

Winter Hunting Blues
February's knocking at the door and in my neck of the woods in Northern Minnesota  that means cold and not a lot of hunting opportunities.
