Just a small dream of mine. This is an animal I have not ever hunted. However, It is on my top of my list of what I would love to experience. Feral swine are spreading like crazy in about fifteen southern states. Texas has an estimated 2 million roaming the Lone Star State alone. Wild Hogs are now as far north as New Hampshire and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The ugly animals are actually pretty smart, that is what I have read anyways. By the sounds of it, they are as smart  a golden retriever.  I guess the first step...

The Walleyes are biting up on Red Lake! Limits were easily caught and with the new 20" rule, we're keeping some beauties. Trucks are on the ice with over 13" measured on Saturday.

I picked up a set of these sticks when I bought the Muddy Outdoors Hunter Treestand. I've had numerous opportunities to use them out in the woods, strapped to a variety of trees. I've had them strapped to enormous Oaks, Slick Poplar Tree, Maples and Pines. On each tree they were rock solid and safe.  My favorite things about these sticks.
