Tactacam 2.0 Review

I had been looking for a while to find a simple to use and high quality camera for self-filming my hunts and have tried many of them on the market….Tactacam fit the bill for just what I needed. I love the simplicity to turn on/off and stop/start recording. I haven't tried it on a gun for a hunt yet since I mostly bow hunt but I threw the Tactacam o...

Velocity Archery Armageddon Crossbow Review

Velocity Archery Armageddon Crossbow Review
In the spring of 2014 I decided I wanted to get another crossbow to turkey hunt with and have for deer season in case I hurt my shoulder or it was very cold and I had to wear a lot of clothes which make shooting a compound difficult. After talking to friends and seeing "Velocity Archery" during some searches online I decided to check them out. Thermacell heated insoles
I received the insoles in December and was super excited to try them out on some cold hunts. The first time I took them out it was 34 degrees. Cabela’s Outfitter Series Folding Sheath Knife

Cabela’s Outfitter Series Folding Sheath Knife
Luckily I was able to get this new knife in time for my spring turkey hunting trip, I was able to dress out two birds quickly due to the extremely shard blade. I know dressing out two turkeys shouldn't dull a blade, but many knives would be dulled after cutting into just one bird. This wasn't the case with this knife; it's just as sharp now as it was out of the box. The only negative I found was that the sheath had Velcro on it. For a hunting knife I am not a fan of a sheath with Velcro, too...

HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra DS-5519
Review of HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra DS-5519 by Matt Hiatt This summer I decided I wanted to change the sights on my bow, so I started looking around at the endless sights available for hunting bows. I narrowed my search down to the HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra DS-5519. Below is how I came to my decision to make the change to the HHA Optimizer and a review on the product. Here are the reasons I chose this sight: -HHA is a great company that sells American made products with a 100% Lifetime Warranty. -Reputation: I know many hunters who use HHA...
