I recently picked up a Jetboil system for packing into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. All that I can say is WOW! I love it! It has reinvented the traditional camp stove system in many ways. The Jetboil consists of four parts: The aluminum cup to hold water, the stove, stabilizer, and the fuel can. When disassembled they fit conveniently inside the cup. Weight is about 10-12oz. To boil water it takes a whole two minutes. You may purchase other parts like cooking pans for the stove. However, I have not tried those yet. It saves you time and the ignitor is very easy to start. I recently went on a camping trip with three other women. We all used it for three days for heating water, with one fuel tank and I still have fuel left. I also think that it would be useful for hunting and fishing. Especially ice fishing. You could make hot drinks on the ice in a matter of minutes. It is relatively quiet and is compact and makes life easier. I give it five stars!
