Grilled Bacon Wrapped Bear Roast
This recipe will make you think you are eating a beef prime rib roast! I promise!  The amount of each ingredients will vary with roast sizes.  I tried to explain the amounts to use based on how much of the roast to cover.  I like to use the "smell" test.  If it smells good after the marinade and rub is added, it will TASTE good!   Ingredients: Bear Roast (trimmed well for better quality and taste) 1 LB Bacon Toothpicks 1-2 Cups Red Wine Honey Olive Oil 1/4 Cup Orange Juice (or Pineapple) Garlic Powder Brown Sugar Cinnamon Seasoning Salt One...

Where This Season May Lead

We started off this season with our awesome new website True Friends Outdoors. With a few guys and girls ready, we started bear baiting. With all of us, we run six baits and harvested two male bears. We still have one license left to fill and yes it's mine. I had my opportunities. Hopefully there is a couple left. Now it is archery season here in Minnesota. We have a few good trips planned for this year. A couple of us are heading down to southern Ohio. We have been down there the last few years and seen some real giants....
